Like most kids in the Midwest, Rhea started dancing early on. Much of her childhood was spent dreaming of being a prima ballerina. Around the same time that those hopes were being dashed by a series of sprained ankles she became fascinated with divination and the occult. It took years for her love of dance and her new found spirituality to merge, but as life changes and opens new doors she found Rakset al-Nehri, a near eastern folkloric troupe within the SCA. Rhea followed a troupe mate to PSG in 2005 and the possibility of combining dance and spirituality came together. In 2008 she joined unda, a FCBD sister studio and in 2012 she formed her own troupe, Absurdorum. Rhea is also the founder of Broom, Book and Needle, the Quad Cities premier Pagan book & knitting club. She is also a founding member of the Three Buckle Garter coven.
