Grandmother Elspeth Odbert will be sharing words of wisdom in these workshops:
Agents of Conscious Evolution - The word "evolution" is being bounced around a lot lately. What does it mean in our time and what does it have to do with you??
Journey into Healing - This is a present life trance journey. You will have opportunity to come to a better understanding of some of the wounds in your past and to heal them.
Building Community in a Changing World - What is a "community"? How does it help each of us face the uncertain future and survive, even thrive? Come share questions and suggestions.
Eat Your Front Yard! - Lets talk about Food Security. By preparing for crisis, you will still be ahead, even if it fails to materialize.

From the Great Below
Angela Denk
Wisdom comes from all places. Everything is a lesson. Come explore the story of Inanna, the Queen of Heaven and Earth who traveled to the Underworld, and examine your own journeys through dark lands and underworlds. There will be a ritual component to this workshop later in the evening for those women who are interested.

Loving Ourselves
Teri "Cricket Sings" Heinechen Owens
Love takes on many forms. To begin this weekend, let us take a moment to each love ourselves. Not in five minutes, not after we get that job, lose that weight, achieve that goal, but now. Just as we are. Let's spend an hour learning who we are, how we love, what drives each of us. Sense of smell is a great way to tie our mental and emotional pictures to the physical. Using various references as guides, we will each be blending essential oils to suit our own unique outlooks. These oil blends can then be used throughout the weekend, as a form of self-blessing, a reminder of what we love about ourselves and what we are working towards.

Intro to Fiber Arts--A Hands on Experience
Kat Lakey
Fiber arts can cover such a wide range of specific skills that it can be overwhelming for someone who is interested but has no idea where to start. This workshop is designed to give you a good overview of the possibilities from raw fiber to finished product, as well as some resources to point you in the right direction for pursing what ever part may interest you.
I will have a list of books, resources and items for you to look over and investigate, to give you a starting point. Some of the items I hope to introduce you to are fleece and source of fibers,
basic processing of raw fleece into usable fiber, as well as various kinds of fiber you can use (and what you can play with even if your allergic to wool). Also, I will have examples of basic tools of the trade for various aspects of fiber arts and some resources, books, websites, and even local classes.
I also hope to have a few low cost spindles and various kinds of fiber for those that would like to try spinning, and a selection of various ways to spin fiber into yarns, that you can see.
This is a touch feel and ask workshop. Hopefully you will walk away with the information to be able to pursue an area of this vast topic. I hope to have samples of raw fleece, various processed and unprocessed fibers like rovings, tops, and various tools such as supported spindles, drop spindles, kick spindle, treadle wheel, electric wheel. rigid heddle loom, inkle loom, tablet loom, and various resource books for you to look over.

Community Speaks: Listening to Voices from the Past
This group discussion will allow you to read from the perspective of women of the past, learn from their experiences and apply their wisdom to your life. There will also be time for discussion about the topic of women in history, who is important to you and what impacts your life now.

Opening the Lotus: Aligning with your Inner Self
Jackie Lakey
This seated meditation will take you through the seven major chakras, sending gratitude and love to each one and aligning with your Inner Self. Learn about surrounding yourself with love and light, and (we hope!) leave balanced, grounded and blessed. This will also offer some preparation for the Candle Labyrinth later in the day. Attend Jackie's workshop, then stop by Main Field around dusk to experience the warm glow and peaceful light!
